This is the first confirmed buck kill of the year that I know off .don't know many folks that shank velvet bucks early archery in the AZONE!
..like hardly any..this is an accomplishment and feat way above average...Im putting this thread to the top.. Strong work again dude! We hunted for 2.5 days and never nocked an arrow...come August 13th..gonna be different..as we did see a couple potential shooters doing absolutely nothing but laying out in the wide open under the oaks panting from the 100 degree heat...man I hate to lose .

Do you neck shoot animals with archery stuff often? I arrowed a great 6x6 bull through the neck and lost him. I sort of thought neck shooting was for the rifle guys after that but I don't know.
Go it. I figured between the spine, jugular and throat I was going to slice something but he ran off and was still bugling and chasing cows lol.
