I have a nice rack that I need help with. A few years back I had injured myself on the hunt and a buddy had helped me out by boiling the head. Well he had good intentions but it made the skull brittle and bleached out the bases real bad. I want to try and give it some color and put it up on the wall. Any suggestions on a good product or process to bring back color. I tried it on a set once and just used some stain it had too much red in it and didn’t look natural.

Wood finish repair sticks. Get a few that match the colors of the original antler and start coloring. Some good YouTube videos on how to get the blending right.
