Hello all,

Was looking to see if anyone has any experience with the Bryson Hesperia Resort for pig hunting. Was looking to do a semi guided hunt for me and a buddy. Would like to do archery or rifle depending on what the set up is for each. Can't seem to find much in the way of reviews or videos.

I hunted it a few years ago. The lady who runs it is real nice. She will drive you around her property and show you sign and give you ideas of where pigs are then she will basically let you hunt Friday night saturday and Sunday morning. 3 of us hunted we didn’t see a single pig. She might have some good turkey hunting this time of year.
I won’t be going back but the experience was nice just didn’t see a lot of game.

I th
Life styles of the rich and famous $850 for a turkey hunt, ill stick with getting skunked on public land much more rewarding, less painful!
I think I only paid like $400 to DIY her ranch she would probably do the same for Turkey if you called her. I wouldn’t pay that or drive there for turkey though. It’s a 5- 6 hour drive,I am kicking around just driving to UT for Turkey maybe next season. I always have a UT license and @utahduckhunter and @ilovesprig have inadvertently got me researching southern Utah from their posts. Plus I can use it as a scouting time over there.
Have I ever said I have a serious addiction to hunting?

We staid there one time lust for the lodging, we used a different guide and did not hunt on any of the property Dede hunted. Four of us all bagged a nice pig, while the guys hunting her land only got one. I'm not sure how many other hunters were there but all the cabins were full. We talk to Dede a lot, I'm pretty sure, while she was plenty friendly, an honest word never past her lips. JMO

Hmm, thanks for the feedback guys. Not so interested in the turkey, but it may be worth it for me to try for the pig. I'm up for what seems to be the challenge especially for such a low price.

Kick down the cash and hire a guide if your gonna put the time and effort into it..you may be on dede,s for days and not cut a track..that would be my 1.5 cents..
