OK...let's unravel the myth of the famous AZ Strip. Below are the facts compiled from 2014.
13A Rifle - AZ Strip
60 Total tags
54 Resident tags
6 Non-resident tags available
In 2014 all 6 non-resident tags were given to hunters who had at least 17 or more points in the max point Draw
13B Rifle - AZ Strip (this is the best mule deer hunt in all of AZ)
70 Total tags
63 Resident tags
7 Non-resident tags available
In 2014 all 7 non-resident tags were given to hunters who had at least 17 or more points in the max point Draw
13A Archery - AZ Strip
30 Total tags
3 Non-resident tags available
In 2014 all 3 non-resident tags were given to hunters who had at least 14 or more points in the max point Draw
13B Archery - AZ Strip

With that said - I think Eddie had 14 points (archery odds suck but are better than rifle odds). The odds of drawing for rifle are staggering. You have a better chance of winning the AZ Super Raffle than you do the general draw.
At the end of the day - somebody has to draw and if you have enough points, why not me or you?

Amen John, It's just something you keep putting in for. I was fortunate a few years ago to go on an AZ sheep hunt that a buddy drew with seventeen points. Ya just might draw, that said don't wait for that to happen get out and do what you can.
It's probably max pool for that tag,if you go on the Monster Muley website it has breakdowns of all the western states unit by unit

If you are worried about the accuracy of the data, go do some research. You will find it to be correct.
Oh no I trusted you that the data was right, just wanted to know where so that I could look at other areas. I am a go hunt member so I do a lot of my research on there and have also found you to be correct. I was just curious to possibly have another source of info.
