Bass up north

Got back into bass fishing a few months ago since my 6 year old seems to enjoy fishing now. Forgot how much fun it is to have a good day on the water.

I’m up north near Rocklin for a few weeks for work and brought a box of lures, a reel, and bought a cheap pole up here. Spent the weekend at a small lake in a little paddle boat that was trying to sink the whole time, but caught fish!!

Caught about 20 the first day between the 2 of us and 12 the next day. Only remembered to take a few pics

That’s a neat looking pond. Nice fish too! But that boat really sucks lol.

Ha. Beggers can’t be choosers. That little paddle boat just sits there, available to anyone who dares to use it. We dared, but not without a couple of cups to keep the water on the outside when it hit our ankles.
