Bipod Questions

What is the best length bipod for shooting prone? What is the best length bipod for shooting seated? I have a bipod that I’ve used for shooting seated, but its a bit too tall if the ground is sloping up towards the target. I’m also curious if theres anyone on here who prefers resting their rifle on top of their pack frame instead of using a bipod.

In most hunting applications, I see no use for one...We've used tri pod shooting sticks, but most the time it's off hand or our knees sitting down...2 cents

ps...Jacob has them on his rifle and in the 6 straight years he's got "16" buck...They've never been used.

I wish there was a rifle bipod that adjustable from 6inch tall to 5feet tall and it fit in your pocket or pack so you didn’t have to have it on your gun all the time.

Under 200....Over that, I'm sure sticks, backpack, or bipod is necessary...This white-tail in Montana was at 257...Used bipod on the ground.

I cant hold steady any more so I need something to keep me on target tri shooting sticks help and better than nothing but a pain to carry around.

Be great if they could fit in your pocket until you need them. Also great if it was multi use.
