California Huntress, Jen “The Archer” Cordaro, Chosen as Semi-Finalist in Worldwide Hunting Competition
To Be Chosen as a Finalist for the Title of Extreme Huntress She Needs Your Votes
Oceanside, CA-based bow huntress, Jen “The Archer” Cordaro was just announced as a semi-finalist in the running for the prestigious title of Extreme Huntress 2016 and she needs your vote (http://www.extremehuntress.com/vote/). The Extreme Huntress competition is about preserving our outdoor heritage and creating positive female role models for women who want to participate in hunting. The contest lasts nearly 9 months and includes essay writing and outdoor community involvement, online voting, outdoor skills challenges such as physical fitness, shooting, tracking, and hunting skills and will be tested in their responses to anti-hunting interrogations--which Jen is all too familiar with after recently being under attack from the anti-hunting crowd for her Bring A Kid Campaign.
Jen has completed the first phase of essay writing and was accepted as a semi-finalist joining 19 other women who have been chosen. The next step of the competition requires that semi-finalists bring attention to lady hunters by encouraging the public to read their online essays and qualifications and then cast a vote. You can read Jen’s essay at: http://www.extremehuntress.com/jen-the-archer-cordaro/ and then you can cast your one-time vote for her by May 30t, 2015, at: http://www.extremehuntress.com/vote/
The Extreme Huntress contest is now in it’s 6th year. Lady hunters from all over the world apply for a chance to be dubbed with the title of Extreme Huntress. If Jen is chosen as a finalist she will travel to the world-class 777 Ranch in Hondo, TX to compete in head-to-head outdoor challenges, which will all be caught on tape and aired over 13 episodes. Keep up with the competition via the Extreme Huntress™ app available on Drive and iTunes. You can follow Jen and her outdoor adventures at: https://www.facebook.com/JenTheArcher.
