Good luck Lee.. I usually camp too opening weekend but will probably skip that this year. Instead I'll be hiking into my spot in the 0300 hour.. after my long 4x4 trek and usual visit from the BP. If u need someone to help drag that buck out, let me know.

I mean that's what we did right. head straight up to the top no matter how high..or how rough.
don't have my sea legs any more. but I try still. see my avatar, no pack pack , no water, no nothing except knife, rifle, and what I wore. binos, and that's it. crazy because no one told I had to do it different.

I've been dealing with a sore foot. Trying to heal up. Sure is bad luck. Hopefully it will be fine on opener.

Yep Lee.....Red shirts, red hat, Levi's, no pack, knife, Bushnell binos, and most times, no water.....Just drank out of streams ...
