Made our annual trip to Canada and headed up the first weekend of Oct. We freelance for numerous reasons and it works for us. Our group along with a few others showed up in three groups spread out over 4 weeks. The first group that arrived mid Sept had epic number of snow geese as did the guys who hunted late Sept, unfortunately we had the exact opposite when we got there. Numbers of snows were the lowest we had ever seen and there were just enough to get it done, often we had to be very careful not to shoot the geese out of an area. Our group overall had our best year yet on snows/blues and great weather as well.
