Dennis and I braved the rainy forecast and fished Lake Perris today. Reports were that Perris was warming up well but we found 57 degree water. Wth? Anyway this time of year is always rough but rewards can be big. Only 10 minutes into our first stop and my bro nails an absolute pig on a Huddleston plastic craw. We only managed one more fish (2 lbs) before succombing to frozen feet and fingers and leaving around noon. As for me, the only fish I came in contact with was lipping dennis’s Toad. Still what a thrill to see him get his personal best LMB.

Steve, he was fishing it Texas style with a 3/8 Oz slider and big worm hook. Red. ACB948D2-858D-4978-BBD1-B0B1FE89308B.png
