Hello everyone,
I'm Brian. I've never hunted a day in my life, but at the age of 34 and with two young children, I've chosen now as a time to learn. A bit about me; I'm former military, used to do a lot of backpacking, love shooting, and I love to eat. I figured hunting would be a good way to combine my interests into something that would benefit my whole family in the way of adventure and good food. I've recently completed the online portion of the hunter safety course and well be taking the follow up class within the next few weeks.
I'm interested in all forms of hunting, especially locally, with my ultimate goal for now being a DIY archery elk hunt in Colorado, when I've gained the experience necessary.
I'm looking forward to interacting with the forum members here to learn all that I can to perform a well thought out, ethical, and hopefully successful harvest when the time comes for me to get out there.
Thanks,
Brain
