Lee,
This might be stating the obvious, but have you tried looking for a nest? On my dad's property we trapped and shot dozens but couldn't make a dent until we took out their nest, which was tucked up high in some clustered foliage.
yep that why so many rattlers at the beginning of spring, and thanks for that , I will looking for that nest. seems the previous owner was not taking control of the rat population, explains why the critter "unknown" is hanging a round. switching to cat food with the bigger trap.
Good luck good luck good luck
on the chupacabra
This thread kicks ass because LBH2 is bagging continuously!
How does one destroy the nest? If you use c4/napalm get a video of it.
Went outside to grab a bucket and Saw two yotes this afternoon on the property. Went back to grab the rifle and I was not fast enough with dam sore foot. They were gone. I saw them standing broadside about 60 yards.. @#$#@$%&.
chickens are locked up , & I have a bunch of baby chicks, I have pondered some rescue cats, but I get upset when coyotes get them.
saw a coyote this morning, but it quickly put distance between it and me, had my 243 out to bag it. but it got out range and sight. I really need to get shooting stick. I move to much in the standing up shot.
Think of it like this... There are neighbors everywhere. In the city or in the country. Country folks are the best neighbors.
You've got a fine spread and it is nice that your neighbors are god's creatures. Hope your foot heals soon.
