Been scouting off Angeles crest highway a couple of times. Only seen a couple does and a fawn. Any suggestions for spotting bucks?

When I was a little guy...My dad and I hunted the ACNF all day in a deep canyon...Even found an old plane crash...Never saw a deer...We get back to the truck and a fine forky crosses the road right in front of us...Kapoooow!...I'd rather be lucky than good.

I was in D11 two days ago , I saw two forkys in a match for about 3 minutes . I also a doe with twin fawns and 6 other does with two having fawns .
