I’m posting this on behalf of a good friend and a neighbor in northern D-16 who had a deer poached off his property mid-morning Saturday November 2nd. The property owner requested I not put too many location details for security reasons. But this looks like a stone cold poaching possibly from the road and may have been shot next to his driveway. The photo shows a fairly good profile of the poacher and a view from back of the deers antlers. There are no or tiny brow tines with a rounded profile 
and the left side is a moderate fork. The right points are not visible. The picture was taken at 10:50 am.
We’re looking for someone who might know who he is. I’ve already spoken to DFW and they are doing what they can to look for him as well but we’re hoping for an actual ID. If you know please PM me in a private message. Do not post any details in an open forum. If you have a name but would rather give it directly to DFW, I will give you the wardens contact information.
As a landowner myself as well as a hunter I can’t tell you what kind of damage this does to our image. It’s the number one reason why private land access has been closed to hunters. I’d like to do everything possible to see that ethical hunters are the one that catch this guy.

PS - we may have an ID on the vehicle that I described earlier and that person was hired by another neighbor to do some work on the property so that might be a cold lead.
