D14 camping spots?

Does anybody know of any areas that are available for camping off hwy 38? Campgrounds are all full for next weekends archery opener because of the holiday. I'll be taking a tent trailer so I can't do any real rugged dirt roads. Thanks

I would check with SBNF offices and see if they have 1st come, 1st serve camping......Bound to be something around Big Bear.

you can checkout the dry camp area behind Angelus Oaks. The trail isn't to bad. Or if you want to go up higher you can try up by Sugarloaf. FawnSkin should have something open. There's so many camping ares off of 38, That I can't believe they are all full. I never see that many people up there.

I looked on Recreation.gov and nothing was open except a couple of first comp first serve campgrounds like crab flats and one other that I don't remember off hand. It's my first time up there hunting cause I've been a D11 hunter for years so it's all going to be a learning experience for me this year. I'll have to head up there early Friday afternoon song can try to find something somewhere. Are there any campgrounds near manzanita flats area?
