Jacob & I started the day off deer hunting. Although, only half heartily, since we both had already shot bucks this year...So for the afternoon, we decided to try our luck with some doves....While at a friends ranch and before heading out to the dove fields, Jacob spots a fawn killer at about a 143 yds.....Dropped him with Stefanie's Savage .243.
The dove shoot was dang good for winter doves (large flocks).....21 birds.
