Missed the biggest deer of my life today because the sun was in my eyes when I shot I'm still in shock over this buck. Easily a tournament winner wider than the ears. Just some good luck at a hard time.

Oh and by the way the deer are rutting. This buck was so locked in on a doe he never even noticed me the doe did however and spooked

Stay after him.....10 dollars to a donut, he's back in that same area tomorrow morning..... ;)
 
Not completely the same but I've experienced this spearfishing and can relate. This year alone I missed a shot on a couple #30+ yellowtail, a #20 bluefin tuna and 2 wahoo (landed one wahoo that day, shot at three).

It's kept me up at night, especially the tuna.
 
Had that feeling when I missed a 100" coues deer.
Haunts me to this day.

I doubt it. Another guy I kinda know supposedly missed him or a similar deer later in the day so he probably disappeared for good

I missed a big one this year it was pretty tough on me but I know he made it through the season and will be there next year and hopefully I get a second chance at him next year.
 
I saw the monster I missed during deer season again yesterday. He's still alive and kickin. Thank god. he turned up a couple miles away but I'm 1000000% positive it's the same deer. Me and my buddy I was with that day saw him yesterday we looked at each other and nearly s*** our pants. Hopefully one of us will win the contest with him this year
