Doods gun blew up

My stepdad had this happen on a 1100. But we were using reloads with a shot filler.
Replaced the barrel it was fine. Scary stuff. Be careful guys when it goes pffff. Because of a dud shell. Check fer a stuck wad.

Had a wad get stuck in my barrel a few weeks back thankfully I knew the sound of just the primer going off and didn’t shoot another shell

I had it happen to a youth hunter...And of course, it was a reload...We were very fortunate that the turkey walked out of range, because he was going to try to shoot at it again....
