Got to the lake early, but the expected top water bite just wasn't there.......Switched to Senko's and deep divers.......Ended up a really good morning.......Even saw a spike buck......lol

The cat was caught on a crank bait as well.......... ;D

Great pics my daughter keeps asking to go fishing and I need to go! Hitting camp Pendleton on Sunday. Hope to get a few rabbits and scout for deer season. Can't wait to give it a crack with the bow.

Yep.......Places that I fished before turkey season are now high and dry......But for every bad thing, something good can be made from it......New growth will grow around the lake. And this lake needs it because of the quagga mussels.......I've seen the lake much lower (about 80' down right now) and I'm sure it will be full again.........Pray for rain........ :'(
