Do you use it? If so who makes the easiest to remove? I used a turkey face mask this season and got some weird looks....to me it worked great. Figured I might get some suggestions from the SCH waterfowler's.

face mask works better than face paint.....

i cant stand having that crud on my face just saying

Lots of guys wear face masks. I assume if you weren't wearing it up to a check station you are good.

I like using burned cork. Light on your face and easy to clean.

I almost never wear either when waterfowling (sometimes eye black)......I try to make my blinds so as to be able to hide my face and still see skyward.....2 cents

Turkey hunting?.....I never hunt without a mask.

great quick feedback :) ..yeah I only wore in the blind. It helps with the sun too. It's a confidence booster when your getting flyers. The ash idea seems to be a good idea nice around the eyes. I did see a few guys with the oil based paint but it seems like a PITA to get off. Thanks

Never used face paint. And the only time I have something on my face is when it is blistering cold.

I like to stare my waterfowl in the eyes when I kill them - mana a mana. :)

I never wear a mask or paint, hell a rarely wear camo. If a bird can see your face paint your blind needs work

I typically wear a mask, but have experimented with different paints. Best I have found is Carbomask http://www.carbomask.com/ It's essentially colored charcoal. Dries quickly, won't rub off on anything. But very easy to remove.

You should be giving those guys who gave you weird looks for using a face mask while turkey hunting weird looks. Definitely an important tool.

This is what I've been using lately.

Mostly because I've had skin cancer before so this has the additional aspect of sun protection.

I didn't use a face mask or paint this weekend but I did wear my predator gold ear muffs. A bad ass blind beats camo every time. Especially late in the year

Duck Commander face paint is pretty good. It's water based and wipes off with ease. Oil based paints are really hard to get off. My dad's hunting partner taught me everything I know about waterfowling. He uses a face mask every time and I trust his knowledge, but to each their own.

I HATE face paint. Maybe it's the Marine in me, but that stuff just plain sucks...especially when the sun is blazing. I have a Drake Waterfowl face mask that I like. Usually, being still in a good blind is enough to keep from spooking ducks.

just got to hide that A5 so the ducks do not flair when they say Oh hell NO i am not getting shot by a A5

time for war paint :) , but i really prefer a full mask. darn turkeys have keen eye sight. they could pick out my long bow until i camo'd it. then they could not spot me. I got close but no pics so it is all hear say. :(
