Staring the season without knowing if we were going to be able to hunt due to the forest closures, it was very tough thinking I would not be able to hunt this year since it’s something I always look forward to every year. I spent every weekend and some days during the week averaging about 10 miles a day of walking looking for bucks with the majority of the days not even seeing a single spike around the does.
