After eating tag soup last year (first year hunting d16 after moving out from NC), I finally punched my a22 this week. Lots of scouting, glassing, trail cams, miles hiked, and missed chances came together to give me a 45 yard quartering shot at what is *technically* a 3x2 (I'm still calling it a forky). Glassed him up in the morning and put a successful stalk together. Pack out was a tad over three miles with 1200' of elevation. Easy peasy.

Appreciate all the advice and bs y'all have shared here, it helped cut the learning curve and keep the motivation up as the season grinds on. PXL_20251014_173947953.MP~3.jpgPXL_20251014_180027216.MP~2.jpgPXL_20251014_193531184.MP~2.jpg
