This is a few weeks behind but I've never been known to be on top of things. A friend and I went out to catch the end of the first dove season around El Centro. This was both our FIRST HUNT in California and his first dove hunt ever. The first morning was a slow start but it picked up once we relocated and we ended up with 55 birds in a couple hours before we ran out of ammo. Came back a second day to get his girlfriend in on the action and got another 35. Everyone had a great time and it really improved our outlook on getting out more this fall/winter!
