Hey all! Haven't been active much lately, as a 9 and 5 year old involved in 2 sports each takes up too much of my time...... ;) Anyway, I was able to finally, after 15 years of off and on trying, get my first west coast buck. Been seeing some good deer on camera, including this guy, but would honestly be happy with any legal deer. Was able to get him after an hour hike in, at 227 yards, by far my longest shot ever. Took 2 1/2 hours to get him out, but well worth it. Not the biggest, but my first.

Thanks.....

Good Work!! Congrats!! Good eats right there..

Sean,

That is so great......I know you've taken a lot of ribbing over the years.....Really happy for you...... 8)

Thanks everyone. Yes, I have taken some well deserved ribbing the last decade plus, but the last 3 years I have shot a pig, whitetail buck, and a muley buck and doe, plus my son got a nice turkey. Maybe, just maybe, I have turned a corner.......knock on wood!!!! ;)

Great job. I know how you feel. Any legal buck would be good enough for me in D16. Congrats!
