That tube sounds nice...I used to use stocking foot neo's with your standard flippers...Worked pretty good..........................

I use the same waders and boots that I use for fly fishing. Stocking foot waders. Wading boots. Fins you can buy on Amazon. Two buckles. Put them on over your boots. Make sure you have a PFD. Inflatable ones are good. I bass fish and fly fish from a float tube. You can always PM for moore details.

Recently been thinking about getting another one myself and getting back *in* the water! I had a pretty tricked out Cumberland with a custom ABS 5-rod holder (made it myself and went through a few variations before the final one pictured below top) that also held my fishing buddy fish finder (I don't think they make them anymore). I used Frogg Togg stocking foot waders that were big enough to layer in the winter, but thin enough that I didn't cook in the summer. I also had a pair of water booties (like the kind you use for diving) that i slid over the stocking feet of my waders so I didn't get holes. I found a pair of Force Fins super cheep on eBay that were amazing! I sold it all on https://floattubeforum.forumotion.com/forum (great source) and locally. I attached a simple old fashioned orange PDF in the basket, which also seconded as a step to keep my tackle bags out of the water and neatly stored behind my back. (I traded this green one pictured below for their camo one because...camo! lol)

Awesome. Thanks for the response and ideas. I picked up a Scotty rod holder but like your set-up. Need to take it out and see what works. I pretty much took the dive and purchased everything. Looking forward to trying out this Sunday.

John,

You're going to love it...It's like you're one with the fish...1995 (Vail), when we called them "Belly Boats"...................

I look forward to it. Do you still fish out of a float?

John,

Not for a long time now...Lost a couple of ponds and I've been too lazy to hit Hodges...Henshaw doesn't allow them.........

ps...I have a hole in one of the bladders...I need to fix it..........
