G13 filled, need one with head gear now

Checked the G13 box today. A buddy and I went for an afternoon hunt and, before we could even setup, we spot a doe cruising a field. We could've passed on her to wait on a buck, but it was too good of a shot to pass up. Slightly uphill and about 100 yards, the Barnes Vortx hammered her DRT. Good eats, but it's time to find one with nice head gear now.

And close to a road i hope?! I like girl deer. We have several either sex hunts with the muzzleloader coming up in 2 weeks...we will only shoot girl deer as we have depleted the bucks during the regular season...fun hunt for sure. Nice work!

Closer to a road than usual.. only a quarter mile hike out instead of a 4 mile hike out at my other spots. But definitely not using my side mirror as a rest.. I need to step my game up. I love girl deer too.. she'll eat!
