We will be there on Tuesday rain is definitely in the forecast for the next week. Looks like today is the worst weather though for sure. Wish it would get cold enough to snow.

First storm passed through last night. Had a dusting of snow. Still now visual on elk. So much damn sign. Just no water.

If your in them but can't see them get near the beds in the mid morning and cow call like your having a tea party with multiple cows go on for a good 5 min. Then cut it off after 2 min, soft cow every so often. No bugles.
Another thing try bugles before light to locate bulls or after dark. They sometimes will talk in the dark and then go quiet during the day.
Don't forget they will come in silent rather than loud and proud.

Dropped off the hill after no sign of actual elk. Saw scat and rubs but no elk.

new spot has some actual animals which is nice, lol.

Finally found them!! Putting a plan together tonight to get in there since they’re bordering private. One more day to make it happen.

Next week I am heading to Utah, it was snowing last night on our unit, so, getting ready for cold temps…
