That's what I was thinking. Must have kept trying till he got the one he liked. it just took a while.

Like them all, for different reasons, still keeping a handful of packs, but Wife wants her storage closet back...

Eberlestock: love their built-in rifle/gun scabbards, highly adjustable for fit, compartmentalized for organization, and when you think mil-spec, these are built as such.

Tenzing TZ4k: highly adjustable for fit, compartmentalized for organization, compresses down for day use and large enough for 4-5 day outings, built in meat shelf between bag and frame, bow/rifle sling, rainfly. Great all around do everything, comfortable, on the lighter weight spectrum.

Lumbar Packs: minimalist packs / weight conscience, day trips, scouting, archery, the alps is a great turkey vest replacement with the add-on features.

And the smaller Day packs, are used for everything under the sun. The Drago, I have 2 of, and I am keeping one as my work laptop / briefcase carry-all. Also, have used as range bag.

Love me gunslinger too! It’s my everyday work bag until I go hunting. It’s packed out a couple animals.
Most recently a doe on Camp Pendleton… love it!
