To start I hope all you Fathers had a great day.
These last 5 days have been like a dream !
The boy came in Wednesday morning; first time since 2018 he’s been able to come home. He joined the Army in 04 and was gone before that Father’s Day; so first time I have both my kids here on that day in 19 years.
The princess and her fiancé came in from Az. Wednesday night. We had a belated birthday dinner for the boy and did some Top Golf to top off the evening.
Thursday we all just hung out together; did a little dog beach and lunch and a quiet dinner at home.
Saturday we had a party at the house with all of the wife’s and my family. Some of our family had not seen the boy in 8 years.
Father’s Day was the most special day in memory for me and the wife. To have our son, daughter and fiancé in church at the same time was beyond words. I am extremely grateful to the Lord for that !!!
We had a nice breakfast at home with another trip to dog beach. We spent the evening having delivered pizza and such ; afterwards we watched home movies, DVD for current ones and old 8 mm family ones.
It was a night to remember !!!
Like I said at the start I hope all you fathers had a great Fathers Day; and if you got half of what I got these last few days you had a good time !!!
Feeling truly blessed and pretty bummed that they are all leaving here in the next few hours !!!
