Have any of you been paying attention???

And people ask how the Nazis came to power. The Democrat drive to extinguish the 1st amendment (opposing thought) is also real. We will have to see if the American people can be bullied and cowed into submission. Honestly, I don't think things look good.

Why no mention of concealed carry? Seems like such a fundamental issue that may reach SCOTUS over the next few years.

Honestly, I'm not that worried about it, at least on a national level I'm not. I believe most of that is and was to garner votes and support. Obama had a similar plan and agenda and in reality as it turned out we actually got gun rights expanded under his administration. The consistent trend of "dems in office = increased gun related purchases" cannot be denied. Common sense tells me, how do you sell something at the highest price in the greatest volume? Make people believe they NEED it and it's never going to be available again. Toilet paper, masks, guns, whatever...
Bottom line, there is a great deal of money to be made in the business of fear mongering.

Everyone needs to answer the question: do I want to live in a country that would take my guns so the government can assume complete control over all citizens ? The answer for me is NO, and for now i will start by staying informed and donating to my favorite gun rights groups. Time will tell what further actions may be necessary

red flag or the writing is on the wall. fraud, treason they are flaunting it in our faces. while ANTIFA riots with impunity, and few are led into the capital are going to jail.
these are very dangerous times, censorship is the start, cut all communications between the opposition. divide and conquer is the name of the game. oldest trick in the book, next cut supply.
water, food, and weapons' in general. I hate to say it look at what they did to Native Americans, False Treaties, cut off their food supply, can't have people run around not paying taxes.
after they successfully remove private citizens from owning arms, they will come for your property. it's the socialist communist way. first priority of Stalin and Mao was to remove farmers and ranchers from their property and take control of the food supply. and of course the water.

i've been thinking about living overseas somewhere, maybe Korea or Thailand. probably
thailand, it's a lot cheaper than Korea.
be safe

The biggest problem is that SOME politicians and almost ALL of the news organizations refer to AR's as "assault weapons", which they absolutely are NOT. An assault weapon is a fully-automatic weapon used by the military for war. An AR is a semi-automatic rifle, nothing more and nothing less. Granted, it is a "military style weapon", but that doesn't make it an assault weapon. Private ownership of an assault weapon is already banned. You can't own one, except in certain cases that are highly regulated. I get a kick out of some of my friends that confront me saying "We should ban assault weapons" (or something like that), and I reply, "They ARE banned. Private citizens can't own an assault weapon." That always leaves them speechless. What I think is going to happen is that the feds are going to crack down on certain "things" like background checks (which, BTW, I totally agree with), high-capacity mags, etc. like they are trying to do here in Kalifornication. I once challenged Senator Feinstein's ideas for stricter gun laws just by asking her how a pistol grip, flash suppressor or collapsible stock make a rifle more dangerous. The obvious answer is that they don't. If governments would just enforce existing gun laws, the problem would decrease substantially. It will never go away because criminals don't obey the law. So go after the criminals, not law-abiding private citizens.

I know I'm preaching to the choir, but... I am not off my soapbox.

They don't need to go after the criminals... the criminals already need them and vote for them.

Remember according to JB. They are not AR-15's but AR-14's.... LOL

I like how that article starts off with the big number of deaths caused by guns but they don’t break down any of the percentages: as follows, 65% suicides 15% justified police shootings 17% criminal related and 3% accidental deaths... just something to think about. Seems like we have a metal health issue epidemic instead of a gun violence epidemic.....
