I got some dove this week, had a blast. Decided im gonna beat the crowds and hit up the deep blue instead. Heading south I will let you know how I do.

Epic day of fishing yesterday! Caught 2 bluefin 35, 43 pounds put up an outstanding fight, went around the boat once before i realized i needed to switch gears. Yellowtail were big got 7 before i needed to rest my arms. I had so much fun on the American Angler 1.5, the captain and his staff were on it, and super helpful, there wasn't even enough time for beer. This was my first time doing offshore fishing so obviously I'm hooked. Second guy pictured for bragging rites to my friend Kurt who had the biggest fish out of the bunch. the boat limited out early so we went and shore and try for halibut. outstanding staff outstanding group of guys on the American angler. dropped off 180 pounds of fish at the processor. Time for tylenol a beer and sleep.
