Kind of have a lot of ground to go through so it’s fun getting creative. I made Italian Deer Hot pockets tonight.

Ingredients
1lb Italian game meat
1 bell pepper
1 onion
1 can stewed Italian tomatoes w basil
Handful mushrooms
Mozzarella cheese
3 crescent roll can things

Brown the meat, stew all the veggies and tomatoes, and then combine the two. Use two crescent triangles pour in a scoop of the stuffing, smother with cheese, fold the two triangles up into something that looks like it will hold the stuffing. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Pull out of the oven and serve.
This recipe made 12 hot pockets and they were great. One pocket is filling two and you are stuffed. I am now stuffed. It’s fun finding new ways to eat game the kids loved it so this one is going to stick for a while. Probably try a taco variation since I ground up 20lbs of venison chorizo yesterday.
