Mine does great on upland. He is a bird-a-holic keep in mind that they are not pointers. So don’t expect them be be like one.

I don't intentionally bird hunt with mine, but they have flushed a bunch of quail in the desert foothills and the mountains.

The ravens are hunting my pup non stop, even after I put 2 down this week with the Red Ryder......10yds head shot & 8' flying body shot.
