Of course they are, did you ever think otherwise ? they are not neccesarily the enemy just he keepers of wildlife like we are. They believe in wildlife as we do and we should maintain conversation with all of us involved and make sure we are all on the same page..
I personally have not had a bad interaction with them or a warden. I have heard a story or two otherwise but as long as you are following all regs and using common sense I feel that they usually have our backs.
