Got to the lake at about 2:00 pm and only got 2 fish, but one of them was a darn good one from the beach...Nothing like getting that 1st bump of the spring.

That's a nice one Steve! Now that the hunting season is over I'm itching for the drug of the tug...
It used to be world class...Then the powers to be started fluctuating the water level in the spring...They also declared that the dam wasn't earthquake proof enough...So now they transfer water out to keep the lake at a much lower level...Last year they lowered the lake 3-5 right during the spawn...Killing a hold years worth of recruitment...
Still produces some good fish though...7-1-20
