All @Larry needs some decoy's for the weekend.

Here is a post he made on another forum! Hope someone here can help.

""I'm in SoCal, Orange County. Buddy I was gonna hunt with on Halloween Day can't make it (short-staffed he has to take-up the slack), and he's the one with the Decoys.

So the Questions for this post are:
1) Is there anybody on here with decoys they'd be willing to lend that lives in Orange County? (I'm in West Garden Grove, near border to Seal Beach)
2) Anybody wanna join me on the hunt? (down at Wister, Salton Sea, I can take up to 4 adults (with hunting lic, Fed duck stamp, ca duck validation, Type A Wilderness Pass) with me)
3) Besides trying to call them in with calls, and good camo, what are some other things that would be helpful for somebody hunting without Decoys?

A good buddy of mine had a habit of leaving his safety off once he was in the field. I explained that I need his safety on untill he was on a duck and ready to shoot.....long story short, he understood and now I feel comfortable hunting with him.

I've counseled Larry on a few occasions...hes not a bad guy...misunderstood yes..marches to Larry's tune in garys world..yes..i miss Larry..

Yeah he saw my post and asked why I just didn't address him personally about it. I mean I did in the field and his answer at the time didn't seem like he cared. Anyways talked to him more about it and he agreed with me on the safety points so I imagine he'll be better. I know he'd of preferred it not of been a public call out but maybe it was a better motivator this way.

Hell I miss Larry and never had the pleasure of reading his posts !!! Every Site Needs someone like that keeps it entertaining . Wasn't He The Larry ? Now I really dont hunt but love reading your guys adventures and I can tell you if a lobster was crossing the road well I would definitely aim for the head and eat the Tail !!!!
