My boy roughed it out with me for our first duck season, and on the last day he killed his first duck. Many long nights driving and long days in the blind paid off. Best hunting partner I could ask for.

My son’s first duck was a drake teal as well. I remember it well. We hunted San Jac and we were in Walker 7 which was a pit blind back then.
We finished this season there as well; same blind but no longer a pit.

My boys first was also a gwt.
Hunting the island blind in s22 ,26 years ago.
Good times ahead for sure.
