Law suit to dis-ban NRA

The liberal Marxist communist bastards. It won’t succeed , at least I hope and pray it doesn’t. This is just another attack on our 2nd amendment. The leftists know if they can get rid of the NRA , there’s little stopping them in taking our guns (Other than bullets). This may just be the opening shot. I also think that the left may bring multiple suits against the NRA to tie up and hamper the NRA and to get them to use up their funds defending themselves.
Support the NRA!

its almost like she is trying to save us gun owners from the evil NRA........

Most of my friends are liberal. A majority of them now want to buy or have purchased guns. They all ask me about it, and i tell them they need firearm safety training and trigger time, or else they are more a danger to themselves. It is ironic, then, that the best places to get it are all identified with the NRA (none have). We are all a little less safe as a result.

I am no fan of Trump, but I was really hoping the NRA and Trump would create a national standard for CCW and sporting rifles, but that didn't happen - The Sig MCX SBR with a suppressor, please! If Biden wins, and i think he will, I doubt things will change much for us in California, but the rest of the country will likely get a dose of our crap gun laws.

If most of my friends were liberal I wouldn’t have very many friends Since most of them are afflicted with TDS and they feel they have to hate on Trump every chance they get. As far as National ccw as long as the democrats control either house of congress it will never happen. No democrat will ever vote for anything positive 2nd amendment.
I agree with you if Biden wins just pray the republicans hold the senate otherwise the 2nd amendment fades into oblivion.

yup! Trump can not create laws. He can only sign them into law. so if you want to blame someone blame that human sack Paul Ryan.
even if they did pass a law every state would sue to stop it and it would take years to wind its way though the courts.

You know this is happening all over the world, Germans have risen up by the millions, poor Chinese people are getting slaughtered by their CCP government & military.
expect the same here if these comi's take control, Demo Commi's have been and are succeeding to blow up this economy.
Employee of a Tabaco shop was sleeping in the back, three intruders broke in to rob the store, he was behind a shut door, open the door here's three guys with knifes,
long story , he shot one , he ended up on house arrest with ankle bracelet, being charged, the thief's got off, scott free. bragging on the internet.
even if trumph wins these comi's are taking over mayor, governors, congress and on, they are on their way of taking over.
when a mob can destroy, burn, assualt, and steal, this country is up side down. I not going on my knees, It will be at home and here I will stay forever.

I will never give up the means to protect my family, myself, my property and yes my dog and cat who are also family.
Any who aren’t NRA members should join. It’s not expensive, it’s something like $35 a year. I’m a life member so I’m not positive what annual membership is. If you are an annual member consider moving up to life member if you can afford it. I periodically buy a annual membership for friends and acquaintances if they aren’t members. So far all have been quite appreciative and most have continued their memberships.

I can't say that I LIKE our president...I don't LIKE taking medicine either, but I know that it keeps me alive....Sometimes, you just have to hold your nose.

ps...I do know what lies on the other side of him...And despite his faults, he's America 1st, pro 2nd Amendment, and at least he has some common sense.

If I was a single issue voter, and the 2nd Amendment was the issue, than I would hold my nose. My issue is corruption, the swamp, and from where I sit both parties are equally polluted. I knew the Democrats where no good when Gray Davis got elected...what a POS. From what I can see the Republicans are no better (Mitch McConnell, really?). Empires and Republics fall because of the venality and self dealing of the leaders. All they care about is the money. I was not a fan of 43, and I think Iraq was a cluster, but I always knew he was the president for all Americans. General Mattis' criticism of President Trump crystalized my thinking. Biden is a tool, and seems weak and not up to it. This is the second time in a row the two parties have failed to deliver a candidate that I can support.

If you vote philosophy then you don’t have to vote based on a single issue. For example the Democrat philosophy currently includes raising taxes, higher taxes , increasing taxes on successful people (meaning wealthy), increasing taxes on business. In addition they are anti second amendment, anti independent american energy, anti petroleum industry, increasing the size and scope of government, they are for socialized medicine, increasing the welfare state, a reduced weak military. And now a days they mostly support defunding police. They support reparations and tax payers paying college loans. The list goes on. There is nothing in their philosophy that I support. Nothing.
The republican philosophy is basically the opposite of everything I listed. Now I know there are rhino republicans who will not support or always vote the conservative republican philosophy but in general the republicans support and vote their philosophy. It may be weak or watered down but better than what the Dems would ever offer. I’ll take that over a democrat who I know will never support or approve anything of the philosophy I believe in.
Keep in mind that the dem party has been co opted by the hard left (read marxist). They are not the party of our parents or even 20 years ago. Voting democrat today you are voting for socialism and socialism is but a stepping stone to communism. So voting a single issue won’t happen for me. And i don’t base my vote on “the person”, unless I am choosing between persons of the same philosophy. There was a time in my youthful days when I may have voted democrat but back then their philosophy wasn’t the Marxist philosophy of today.

Like I have said: The Demoncrats will take your guns, kick you out of your house by taxing you to death. They will put a chip inside you and then you will work underpaid with long hours. Bow to your new World Order. Vote RED in November.

Do you not understand why democrats & RINOS (Romney) hate Trump...It's because he's trying to drain that good ol' boys & girls swamp...And single issue?...Give me one issue that is good for America that the dems are proposing or have done since they took control of congress?

For the last 10 year more people have identified as independents than Republican or Democrat. I'm not advocating for the Democratic party at all, full stop. As I said I think both parties are corrupt. @WaterDog's approach makes sense to me, and for him the Republican philosophy works on a party line. I'm fiscally conservative and socially liberal, and there is no political party that represents that philosophy. I'm not going to defend the Democrats' legislative agenda because that isn't my team.

26% Republican
30% Democrat
42% Independent

Each election is about turning out the base and trying to convince a plurality of Americans to vote for one of the two dominant parties.

One thing I will note is both Republicans and Democrats think the independents are "wishy washy" or too checked out to see that "their" side is right. We are not stupid, but we don't align with either party, so we vote our conscious as best we can.

President Trump has the full support of his base, but he is going to need to appeal to a broader swath of Americans if he is going to win. He is going to need to articulate a compelling version of the future in his second term, and so far his messages, from what I can tell, have failed to resonate. He certainly has time, but not a lot.

What part of America 1st, border security, lower drug costs, pro 2nd amendment, bring home jobs, energy independent, lessen China's control of American products, less regulations to small businesses, pro police does not resonate with you?

ps...He's a New Yorker...Blunt, crass, and has a no bull $hit approach...I guess it's better to be a PC, slick, articulate bull $hit-TER for the millennial base?

Anything can happen but as scarey as it sounds Hillary was a much much stronger candidate than Biden , if and thats BIG if Biden wins this election his VP will take over the Prsidency within the first year so so look as his VP choice and ask yourself if you want that person to lead this country.

And again if you choose not to vote you still have voted , no one should be sitting on the hands for this one.

The legislative agenda you layout sounds great - I am support of every single point. In 2016 the Republican's controlled all three branches of government, and we got a tax cut for the wealthy. The Democrats had zero legislative power, and we didn't get border security, lower drug costs, any movement on the 2nd Amendmendment, (and I had hopes) and energy independence was largely started under Bush and extended during Obama. Where i will give the President credit is standing up for America to China.

President Trump has a single super power, and that is his other worldly ability to fight - it is truly impressive. However, I want wins for the topics I care about and in my opinion the results aren't there. The question voters will be asking themselves is not "do I like how President Trump communicates his ideas," but "do I feel better off than I did four years ago?" We will see what they say.

Out of curiosity, what are the topics that you care about?

This country was enjoying the greatest economy it had ever experienced, including all minority groups...Then what do you know, a world wide pandemic shows up...And from all places China...Then a police incident starts riots and racial discourse thru out the country...BLM and ANTIFA take over cities...OUR president is FORCED to make hard decisions...Do you possibly think for second that this wasn't planned just before an election?...The fact that 1,000's of people have died or that our economy and people have been hit hard is only collateral damage to the Marxist/democrats to have control over our people.

Wake up to what the liberal, current day democrats stand for...Biden is just a figure head for this movement.
