Local black powder vendors?

I got a d13.
Oh yea.my dad made two.one brass and one aluminum. And no still on the bucket list.i think i took the hunting one out once like 6 yrs ago.

I have the inline 50 with a scope too.made for hunting.
But id prefer to use the hawkins with open sights.
That would make it feel truely traditional.

This brings up a question....I know using a scope on a muzzle loader is illegal in California (unless you're 'capped)….But during the general D-16 season, you can basically use anything (bow, crossbow, rifle, & muzzy)….Can you have a scope then?

Im not sure.but during muzzy hunts i think they try to keep it traditional.but gen.season i think its ok to use a scope. Good question.

I believe the answer is no to scopes, and if you are granted an exemption the scope can only be 1x with crosshairs.
