While bass fishing at "The Shaw" yesterday...I had this guy (or girl) come swimming up to me...Only one I saw and probably left behind............:worried:

ps...Not the 1st time I've seen brant at Henshaw...Must be a freshwater stop.............:blush:

pss...Still catching them, despite dropping water levels........;)

Whats the fate of that bird? Fly north one of these days? Wait it out a year? Assuming a bobcat does not get it or something.

Doubt that it will make it...They migrate in large flocks...No real food a Henshaw (they like eel grass) and eagles will find it easy pray...............:confused:
 
I saw it this morning. It swam off rather than fly when I walked by. I see them in Mission Bay quite a bit when I am on the boat. But, that is where they should be. Plenty of Eel Grass.
