LOST GSP in the mojave national preserve

i almost lost my GSP out in this area once so i get how it happens. Cross posted off Calguns. Keep a eye out for this guys dog if any of you are out there.

Found one once in that same general area, while chukar hunting.....Never saw another hunter or signs.....I think my uncle ended up keeping it..... ???

If you do find a dog you should turn it over to the county Animal Control. (In this case you might not have to since it looks like you could get with the owner directly via this post, so you wouldn't need to.) If you're concerned they'll kill it, put your name on it and check in a couple days and if its not claimed then you can LEGALLY claim it. I know its a living animal but in the eyes of the law it is property and falls under the same laws as far as theft and misappropriation of lost property. I'd hate to see someone get in legal trouble over a dog. Besides, if you lost a dog where's one of the first places you'd check if you lost one? Probably the local shelter, right? Since she was lost the day after thanksgiving and is still missing I fear that either she's met with some misfortune and is no longer with us or someone found her and is keeping her without contacting Animal Control.

Hope they find the pup.
