20161026_195247.jpg 20161026_195247.jpg Nearly 3 years after ditching California and moving to Michigan, I finally sealed the deal on my first whitetail buck. I've had this stud on camera for the past couple years and he finally slipped up. Saw him the night before I stuck him but he never came into range so I rushed home from work, threw some camo on and walked into my woods. Sat on the stand for 35 minutes and he walked out at 40 yards and the rest is history. Now I'm hunting for a taxidermist!

Nice, congrats. Are you glad you moved, or do you miss it here?

I'm glad we moved. It was tough, but we have no regrets. The hardest part is being away from family, but I don't miss the BS politics there so it's nice to live where you are still free. I hunt my own land and I'm no millionaire so chances of me ever being able to do that in CA is unlikely.

Congrats on the buck and being able to hunt your OWN land. Both are great accomplishments.
