Moldy Packs

Afternoon all. I recently discovered that a bladder of mine was leaking and I now have 2 upland bird vest packs with mold. Any tips on how to get rid of the mold and save the packs?

Thanks. Tried that, twice. The second time I added a good amount of white vinegar and no luck.

Sunlight kills mold pretty well.

Maybe mix that with a hot wash.

If I had an $300 laying around I would, but I don't so I'm trying to save them.

Gotcha...well..I have my wife wash mine..I'll ask her how she gets that funk out.

Maybe try soaking and scrubbing them in some oxiclean..hopefully you can salvage them

I pressure wash my packs. For blood I use hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle not sure if that will work on mold though. I would personally just use house hold cleaner and a pressure washer. If you don't have a pressure washer go down to one of those DIY car washes.

I second the diy car wash but I recommend soak scrub them in the degreaser for a day then power wash.
That stuff takes the stink out of anything

My shotgun has a camo pattern mix of mud and blood atm... I suppose I'll get around to cleaning it eventually.

Wish I didn’t lose this hat. It was a great 2017-18 season when I wore it. I was convinced it was lucky.

I would fill a plastic tub with warm water and Woolite and scrub the heck out of it, then hang dry with some sun. Then maybe do it again.
