My deer claimed by another animal

I was in Arkansas the last couple weeks, putting the hammer down on the whitetail (2 with the bow, and 1 with the muzzleloader). My first kill was a big doe with my bow. After I shot her, I gave it 1 hour before looking for her.... apparently that was too long. My guess is whatever started eating her was probably still eating her while I started looking for her.

That’s a bummer, I found a poor fawn buck like that the other day that the coyotes got to. We all need to put effort in to killing coyotes that’s for sure. I need to get a call again and really get after it like I use to.
