NWTF Spring Turkey Tune-Up....2026

Not too early to start thinking about and planning next years tune-up...Saturday Feb 21st, 2026...Lots of great hunts raffled off on private land, Lake Sutherland, guided pig hunts, guns, and more...Most the money raised from this event stays right here in San Diego Co. for our youth hunts, J.A.K.E.S event, wounded warrior hunts, and veterans...Great time for the entire family..........

ps...Good carryover from last year and recruitment, if the "Best 40 acres" is any indication, it was excellent, as well....................

The Santa Ysabel hunts are raffled off on Saturday, March 7th at the VFW (9:00 am)......There are 14 youth hunts at Lake Sutherland......Plus, Backcountry Heroes is raffling off a guided hunt for a youth on private property in Julian.

ps...Backcountry Heroes is also raffling off a 1st responders and veteran hunt on those same properties...Just sign up at their booth.........

No cost...NWTF San Diego Chapter pays for all Lake Sutherland hunting fees..................

My SIL's company (Drain Mob) pays for all boat and motor usage for the Bloomdale zone as well, if you're drawn for there...................................

Sorry for not responding sooner...For future reference, if you have the CDFW app, then you can show that...Your licenses will be there...Everybody should have that on their phone...This was one of the questions wardens answered at the tune-up.....
