Naa, if I get sick I'll assume it's covid and avoid people, which I don't find that hard in the first place. I don't need a test to tell me I have something there is no cure for.

Home tests are interesting... I know first hand of 3 recent home tests that were positive but when tested the same day at UC, all 3 were negative. Weird.

I am still having to pay Covid positive employees to stay home. A positive Covid test and you get 80 hours paid in CA. What can go wrong…..

Long ago were the days when I'd still go to work with a fever and felt like shit because I had work to do and didn't wanna burn PTO. Now you get a sniffle and gotta stay home until you test negative. So much for work ethic.

I’m not taking shots at anyone with that but more the situation we’re now in with all this testing. At some point the testing has to stop. Stay home for a few days if you’re sick but stop wondering if it’s Covid. Just my opinion.

Daughter has the sniffles but otherwise fells fine. Told her to just go to school and wear an N95 instead of the cheap surgical masks for the time being. Pulling kids for the slightest little thing to wait for a test seems a bit absurd and the home test results seem like they aren't very reliable.
