Took Otto out this week-end for the youth hunts...1st up was San Jacinto W.A...Started out with a fine pancake breakfast...The hunt itself was a pretty much a bust...One cinnamon teal with the only shot he got...The luncheon and raffle were great...Thank you to all involved, especially Carlos, Scott, and Quail Forever crew....... 
With the hunt being so poor, I decided I would drive Otto to a friends duck club out in the IV...It had only rested 1 day, but the old "Gadwall Hole" had not been hunted...If Otto would've wanted to shoot a nice cinnamon drake, he would've had an all gadwall limit...With some time left in the day and an occasional snow goose coming to the club...We put out a handful of snow floaters and waited...Sure enough a 5 pack comes in and Otto adds a wavy to his day....
Great way to end the season and that's a rap........................
