Pigs

Glad to see my trips into the woods with a muddy piece of cow skin are causing a stir ... j/k

Pigs are hardy critters, that repopulate faster than rabbits. If there's a pair left, they'll come back. And those suckers eat anything they can find.

Josh,

If there's anymore than the one boar left, then they're in south county.....Tons of thick country around Barrett, Lake Morena, and the border.

Can't we reintroduce antelope in SD and just call them pigs?
"Woops, a ton of 'pigs' just escaped from an Indian reservation. They may look like skinny, long-jumping, striped deer but they are really pigs."
No need to go after them because they prefer habitat which is too remote for humans to follow.

"Make SD great again by adding Springbok"

Glad that it's raining but getting a little cabin fever. After the rain finishes on Sunday I'll be sure to venture out.

Gen,
I know you somehow seem to find pigs but it's hard to believe they're around when I'm out in the woods all the time with lots of cams and have yet to see one.

Josh I haven't got a whole lot on my cams lately. I stopped putting cameras on public land after two of mine got stolen last year. I will say a certain old property on MCC still has a couple left. The most recent sign I found was three weeks ago. The dogs do pretty much all the work in finding pig signs and tracks. Without them I'm pretty much in the dark like everyone.
