Have you guys heard of this spot , its close to Edwards AFB on the rogers dry lake bed . I looked it up found the website and it looks like it may be open to the public ! They have hunting blinds . Website states primarily hunted by AFB personal . But seems to be open for bird watching for the general public . I blasted some emails out to them to see if there is any opportunity there . I also read that it was over run with coots like 3000 and they were calling for a ( coot shoot ) . To clear it out so the other ducks and geese can land. One hunter stated that during the days hunt many ducks and geese flew over but failed to land . It didn't sound like too many guys were hunting there

I know they have a club there that does have a waiting list. I am not sure on public opportunities. If so they could just be letting guys hunt the not so great spots.

One of the 1st places I ever hunted ducks.....Back then, it was very private (70's).
