Wore myself out to get him but I got it done. Played cat and mouse all day with this guy. Spotted him from 1,100 yards away. Climbed 1,200 feet elevation to watch his antlers from 260 yards out for ten minutes only to have him slip out. an hour later I missed 3 shots at him at 463 yards. Watched him bed again. Snuck in to 30 yards of him to blow out again. Got on his hot doe again and stayed on her for two hours waiting for him to show up. Finally he showed and put him down.
